From May 19th to 21st, the 84th Black Ship Festival will be held.
When you think of the Black Ships, you think of Commodore Perry. If you go to Izu, you will remember it every year. However, if I don't go to Izu, I don't think I will remember Kurofune or Perry.
As always, the Shimoda City Tourist Association Guide has posted a lot of information.After reading this article, I want to go to Shimoda for the Kurofune Festival!
